The students of Lake Bluff Elementary School will present their spring show, Show Time 2014, on Thursday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium. K-2 Family Math Game Night

Our third Kindergarten through Second Grade Family Math Game Night on March 17, 2014 was a huge success. Close to 40 families spent an engrossing evening in the Lake Bluff Elementary School multi-purpose room playing math games.  more about K-2 Family Math Game Night

On Wednesday evening, February 19, join Internet Safety Specialist Melissa Hemzacek, MSW, LSW of the Attorney General’s High Tech Crimes Bureau as she talks about cyberbullying, digital citizenship, privacy, sites and apps most used by youth/teens, self-representation, sexting and online predators. The students of Lake Bluff Elementary School are doing a lot of jumping rope on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 4 and 5: it’s their annual Jump Rope for Heart, held in cooperation with the American Heart Association. Kindergarten through 3rd graders are jumping on Tuesday, and 4th and 5th graders are jumping on Wednesday.   more about Jump Rope for Heart
Local students to benefit from LF-LB LDA "Make a Difference" grants

Recent grants by the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) will fund a variety of tools to assist children in the community who learn differently. January 29, 2014: At its Tuesday January 28 meeting, the Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education named Margaret St. Claire as Principal of Lake Bluff Elementary School. 10-5-2013: The School Board has hired Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), the country's largest education executive search firm, to recruit candidates and assist in the search for a new principal for Lake Bluff Elementary School. 4-30-2013: As our students and staff are working to wrap up a wonderful school year full of academic and extracurricular achievements, I want to share with you some important information about Lake Bluff Elementary School. Our Board of Education and I are in agreement that the search for a new principal must be a thoughtful, deliberate and inclusive process in order to select an outstanding candidate who will provide long-term leadership and inspiration to both the students and staff at Lake Bluff Elementary School. Lake Bluff Elementary School Choir and new Beginning Band to perform Monday evening
Lake Bluff Elementary School students will present two concerts on Monday, February 3 beginning at 6 pm.
